USB-RS232 Adapter Isolated Metal [USB-COM-Si-M]

This industrial USB-RS232 adapter has a metal enclosure and optical isolation.

Optical isolation and surge protection are integral to the ES-U-1101-M. The serial line of the RS-232 port is optically isolated with 2000 volt DC optical isolation. The adapter has a built-in surge protector to withstand electrostatic discharge and power surges up to 25KV ESD.

The universal driver software for most operating systems can be downloaded from the website of FTDI. Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 automatically installs the correct driver when you connect the adapter.
